My experience with traveling started sooner than most. When I was only 7 years old, I immigrated from Vietnam to the United States! Before leaving my home country, I had no expectations of what life would be like in the U.S. All I knew at the time was that everyone in Vietnam including my parents wanted to go there! I remember distinctively that I was super excited to finally fly after seeing airplanes in the sky when I was a young boy. To this day, I still reminisce on my first experience riding an airplane. Although my plane ride was 26 hours from Ho Chi Minh to California, I never experienced a dull moment instead I was in a constant state of bliss. I was so awed by the feat that human can actually be so high off the ground in a metal bird. Also, I remember being so stimulated with by so many different people with different style of clothes and skin color. I felt like being in a candy shop with an unlimited supply of candy options all displayed to me at once when I was traveling. Ever since then, I have always try to relive that experience through my travel! Seeking a new destination to explore can have bunch of meetings for people, but for me I find the journey to be the best. The memories I make along the way is much more meaningful for me than the destination. On top of that, 9 out of the 10 times I travel in hope of making the world a better place rather than just for personal pleasure. Now that I have told you about why I travel, I would like to read about your personal motives for traveling. Let others know who you are!
